SUPRA LINEAGE
The Toyota Supra has had a long-lasting life within the Toyota Family. In 1978 the first Supra Model was released considered to be the Toyota Celica Supra (A40) in 1978. The 0-60 in this vehicle started at 10.2 Seconds, with 116 Horsepower, and a 2.8-Liter 5M-E. Using this model as a starting point, the chassis was lengthened, and it eventually created the latest in comfort and technology in the late 70's. Over the next 20 years, the Toyota Supra would evolve, promptly to the A50, A60, A70, and eventually the A80 in 1993 to 1998. By 1998, the Supra had become a pop-culture phenomenon. The A80 is truly timeless with near-perfect weight balance, impressive 2JZ engine, and unmistakable styling, it has remained legendary in Supra advocates everywhere. When rumors started rising about a potential A90, the Toyota Supra has been reborn in the GR (Gazoo Racing) Model, with more flare and style than ever.
