Do we accept trades?     Yes.  All kinds.  Even salvage titles.  It doesn't even need to be operable as long as YOU can get it to our facility.

How do you determine my trade value?  We use a system that tell us what that make and model are selling for at wholesale market (book value).  Why wholesale value?  We need to know exactly how much your vehicle will sell for at a wholesale auction so that we can recoup our money should it come to that.  Many times we are taking a risk in buying your trade since we do not have the opportunity to do a thorough service inspection prior to making you an offer.  There are typical maintenance items that we always account for (oil change, tire rotation, detail, etc.).  But there are other hidden items that will reveal themselves once your vehicle has been inspected by a factory-certified mechanic.   Items that even you may not realize need attention (brakes, rotors, belts, hoses, etc.).

Why did you give me less money for my trade when I brought it back a month later?  The book value we mentioned above changes every 1 to 2 weeks.  It fluctuates with the market.  Your vehicle has also accumulated more miles.  That's why we guarantee our offer to purchase your vehicle for 7 days or 300 miles.

Why didn't you give me more money for the cool features that are on my car?  Factory installed options (sunroof, tow package, leather, navigation) will boost your vehicle's value more than after-market installed options.  There are times that an aftermarket option has to be removed in order for the vehicle to pass a safety and service inspection.

Does having an accident on my CARFAX affect the value of my trade?  Absolutely.  But probably not in the way you might think.  The CARFAX will usually detail the type of accident and whether the vehicle was operable afterwards.  Does your car still show damage?  That reduces the value because we need to fix it.  Was the damage fixed by a reputable company and no damage is visible?  Score - that's more money for your trade.
